Main Responsibilities:
Costing:
• Ensure costing activities comply with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Maintain and update standard costs.
• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs and provide detailed root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Oversee and approve the inventory scrapping process by reviewing supporting documents and conducting the necessary investigations.
• Follow up on weekly basis the work in prosses (WIP)
• Follow up on monthly basis the prosses orders and ensure to be closed before the end of month
• Monitor inventory valuation and support slow-moving / obsolete stock provision analysis
• Participate on quarterly and annual inventory counts
Fixed Asset:
• Maintain the fixed asset register in SAP, ensuring accurate classification, useful life, and depreciation methods.
• Process asset additions, transfers, retirements, and disposals.
• Manage Capital Work in Progress (CWIP/AUC) and ensure timely capitalization upon project completion.
• Participate on quarterly and annual physical count of the fixed asset count by tagging prosses
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in costing and/or fixed assets accounting, preferably within the manufacturing or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of costing principles, inventory accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of IFRS and internal control practices is an advantage.
