Title:  Specialist, Production

•Implements the day-to-day operations assigned  for the function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.

•Supervises the day-to-day operations of a single section (packaging or production) to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and in compliance with established standards and procedures. 

•Coaches and trains lower level jobs on simple tasks to ensure compliance with set guidelines and SOPs.

•Assists quality and plant management in investigations and prepares incident reports when the need rises.

•Documents SAGE and paper systems pertaining to manufacturing orders (MOs) and packaging standards (PSs) to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.

•Communicates internally with other departments such as quality, purchasing and engineering to ensure the progression of work and compliance with SOPs and GMPs.

•Communicates externally with technicians for troubleshooting  and maintenance of production machines and lines.

•Monitors and follows up on production KPIs and work plans to ensure that the approved target is met.

•Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
