Title:  Supervisor, Production

Jobs at this level supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.  These jobs also monitor and follow up on production KPIs and work plans to ensure that the approved target is met.  Finally they also  follow up and ensure up-time and sets action plant to optimize utilization and efficiency. 

•Participates in the development and implementation of SOPs to ensure all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled.
•Implements the day-to-day operations assigned  for the function to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
•Supervises the activities and work of subordinates in both production and packaging to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
•Reviews the manufacturing plan on a regular basis to ensure compliance with the annual plan and production target.
•Troubleshoots and investigates complex manufacturing issues, incidents and reliability problems on the production line, and rearranges work plans and resources accordingly to ensure continuity of operations. 
•Coordinates with other internal departments such as quality, purchasing and engineering to ensure the progression of work and compliance with SOPs and GMPs.
•Communicates externally with technicians for troubleshooting  and maintenance of production machines and lines.
•Monitors and follows up on production KPIs and work plans to ensure that the approved target is met.
•Follows up and ensures up-time and sets action plant to optimize utilization and efficiency. 
•Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
