At Hikma, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Medical Science Specialist to help deliver accurate, evidence-based medical information across our portfolio and pipeline. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic, cross-functional, international team and make a real impact in clinical practice.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Preparation of medical science inputs across therapeutic areas relevant to Hikma’s R&D pipeline and portfolio, including unmet medical needs, standards of care, treatment trends, and clinical guidelines.
  • Manage the intake, documentation, and routing of medical inquiries to appropriate departments, ensuring timely and compliant processing.
  • Develop Standard Response Documents (SRDs) and maintain a Q&A database for assigned products.
  • Design and deliver medical education and training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the review of promotional and non-promotional materials to ensure medical accuracy, balance, and compliance.
  • Medical writing and review of clinical sections in regulatory submission documents (e.g., SmPC, PIL, clinical overviews, and CTD modules).

 

What we expect:

  • MD, PharmD or advanced degree in a biomedical or life sciences field (Master’s/PhD)
  • Preferred: BCMAS or equivalent Medical Affairs accreditation (US), PharmD license (US)
  • Min 3 years of experience in Medical Affairs or a related field (e.g., R&D, Clinical Pharmacology)
  • Strong ability to interpret and synthesize scientific literature
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage healthcare professionals in a compliant and professional manner
  • Adaptability to collaborative work environments, scientific challenges, and innovative approaches
  • Good IT knowledge (MS Office)
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
