Toxicology Specialist (m/f/d)

In this role you will be working closely with your peers on non-clinical safety assessments and provision of non-clinical safety support to R&D projects. Also, you will be responsible for providing support to other members of the Non-clinical and Clinical R&D department as well as to other departments as needed.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Performance of literature searches and extracting knowledge from scientific literature
  • Completion of standard tasks in the performance of non-clinical safety assessments under supervision, using computational tools, scientific reports and literature
  • Support to external vendor/CRO engagement and management
  • Design of non-clinical studies and interpreting/presenting results under supervision
  • Building relevant scientific inputs of non-clinical toxicology into drug development process to support R&D projects under supervision 
  • Management of Non-clinical R&D documentation for global submissions (US FDA, EMA, other regions)
  • Building internal and external network; collaboration with internal peers and stakeholders

 

What we expect:

  • Master or higher degree in Life sciences, Pharmacy or Veterinary medicine
  • Some (up to 3 years’) working experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other research environment is preffered
  • Preffered, understanding and practical application of the relevant regulatory guidelines
  • Continued learning and knowledge/expertise building in non clinical toxicology 
  • Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
  • Basic MS Office skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage timelines
