We are looking for a talented Specialist, Finance to join us. Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Has the responsibility of (1) monthly-closing tasks, (2) general ledger journal entries and (3) account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparation of the monthly financial reporting package and supplemental schedules for reporting to Corporate (including the SAP BPC consolidation and review of the reporting package to Hikma Corporate).
  • Assist in financial planning and budgeting for HPIL company and its affiliates.
  • Collaborate with business partners for purposes of analysing income statement fluctuations on a monthly basis and report on variances.
  • Ownership of maintaining and enhancing Hikma’s documentation of internal processes and controls.
  • Help and coordinate requests with internal and external auditors.
  • Maintain a questioning mindset to analytically review and challenge the accuracy of support for journal entries and account balances.
  • Reviews accounting policies and procedures and, as needed, recommends process improvements (including automation and operational efficiencies).
  • Other special projects as assigned

 

Qualifications:

 

We are looking for candidates whose experience and skills align closely with the qualifications outlined below:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance or similar field.
  • Preferred: Professional Certificates
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in accounting or other relevant practice experience.

 

 

Skills:

 

 

  • Fluent/Excellent in English (written and spoken).
  • Qualified candidates should have experience working with an ERP system, preferably SAP/SAP BPC.
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills and an effective cross functional communicator.
  • Ability to contribute ideas to address business issues.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Excel, and PowerPoint, especially the integration with other MS products
  • Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative, guide, and influence others toward goal achievement
  • Collaborative working style, ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment.
  • Ability to organize and work with large amounts of complex information
  • Working knowledge of internal control concepts
  • Process oriented, data driven, and exceptionally well organized and detailed
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry preferred.
  • Experience in various roles in the accounting and finance functions (GL/AR/AP/Fixed assets).
